Bushra BiBi Video Statement : PTI Protest Call
A week ago, an article was published in the Guardian, in which it was said that the army is not at all interested in talks or any deal with Imran Khan. Imran Khan wants talks to take place, and Imran Khan did the same and said that he has kept the doors of talks open. Two big meetings were held; Barrister Gauhar Ali Amin went, and they met there; some messaging took place, but Mohsin Naqvi suddenly comes on the screen today, and what thoughts does he express?
“On the 24th, a 65-member delegation from Belarus is arriving, in which there are 10 ministers. Their president is arriving on the 24th and on the 25th. And we are going to do the same thing; we will be putting containers, shutting down mobile services, and giving them our protection will be the first priority. After that, definitely we have to protect our city of Islamabad, our citizens of Islamabad, and without any kind of permission we cannot allow any kind of rally or procession. Let me tell you one thing very clearly: there are some protests. Protests do not happen by threats. I myself am in favor of the fact that yes, there should be talks, but there is no possibility of giving threats and then saying that there is no possibility of talks.”
Islamabad High Court, while giving its verdict on the protest of 24 November by PTI, has ordered the administration not to allow the protest. This is the decision of the court. Imran Khan is not listening. Halima Khan has given a statement of Khan earlier also that the decisions will be taken on the streets. I remember his words are that we have to protest, and we have to get these decisions done on the streets and because of that Khan has to be thrown out because of the streets. So now my problem is that thing is going on, but in the meantime it can happen from now on, that friend. Wait for now; let’s talk, but lower the temperature for the next 10 days. It has gone too far, but is this the chance for Khan or not? Now on the 24th we have announced it. Bushra Bibi gave a message on social media, on all platforms, in which she has said three things: one is that it is everyone’s duty to move out; to get Khan out means that decisions will be taken on the streets only; decisions will not be taken in the courts; they will be taken on the streets; she even said that yes, judges should also come out.
