Three European States recognizes Palestinian State

Norway Ireland and Spain will formally recognize Palestine as a state next week aiming to advance peace in the Middle East. This move has prompted Israel to recall its envoys. This could mark the beginning of Europe recognizing Palestine as a state. Ireland’s prime minister Simon Harris and Spain’s prime minister Pedro Sanchez criticized Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for endangering the two-state solution with his Gaza policies.

“Last month I stood on these same steps with prime minister Sanchez of Spain and we said that the point of recognizing the state of Palestine was coming closer that point has now arrived today Ireland Norway and Spain are announcing that we recognize the state of Palestine each of us will now undertake whatever National steps are necessary to give effect to that decision in the lead up to today’s announcement I had spoken with a number of other leaders and counterparts and I’m confident that further countries will join join us in taking this important step in the coming weeks this is an historic and important day for Ireland and for Palestine on the 21st of January 1919 Ireland asked the world to recognize our right to be an independent state our message to the free nations of the world was a plea for international recognition of our independence emphasizing our distinct national identity our historical strength struggle and our right to self-determination and Justice today we use the same language to support the recognition of Palestine as a state we do so because we believe in Freedom and Justice as the fundamental principles of international law and because we believe that permanent peace can only be secured upon the basis of the Free Will of a free people.”

Says the Irish Prime Minister.

This suggest Israel losing support on international forum because of its autocracies and hypocrisy of Hamas attack is now revealing. But it is little too late by the world leaders to react?

Biden favors two-state solution

Meanwhile US has faced a lot of backlash because of its biased support for Israel and opposing ceasefire attempts despite being an advocate of world peace. The US have came out in open support of Israel and the veil has been lifted after their biased support for Israel and justifying the Israeli war crimes. rather one sided offensive to carry out Palestinian genocide. Biden faced a lot of backlash and criticism because of his actions and protests throughout the country added to the pressure. Now with Europe openly condemning Israel and recognizing Palestinian state would certainly steer US attitude on the issue. Recently Biden advocated ceasefire and favored the two state solution as the only solution for lasting peace in the middle east but why this realization after so many Palestinians have been wiped out. Why no steps were taken when Israel was on the offensive and still is looks like they are waiting for no Palestinian to remain alive for ceasefire to take place.

“I support peaceful, non-violent protest. Your voices should be heard, and I promise you I hear them,” Biden told the ceremony. Biden said he wanted an “immediate ceasefire to stop the fighting, bring the hostages home”.” lasting, durable peace” in the wider Middle East that would lead to an independent Palestinian state, which he called the “only solution.”

Israeli Offensive Continues

Meanwhile in Gaza 62 people were killed and 138 injured in the past 24 hours. According to the health Ministry the World Health Organization also reported that Northern Gaza’s last two hospitals Al orderer and Kamal adwan are besieged by Israeli forces with over 200 patients trapped inside despite the arrival of 569 tons of humanitarian Aid the Pentagon states that none has been distributed to starving Palestinians. Furthermore Majid al- Ansari qatar’s foreign Ministry spokesperson affirmed ongoing mediation efforts with Egypt and the US to achieve a ceasefire and prisoner exchange since October 7th Israeli attacks on Gaza have killed 3,799 injured 79,90 while Hamas’s attack on Israel resulted in 1,139 deaths and left dozens held captive. But all these news and pressure still not prompting swift action in reality almost 35000 Palestinians have been killed so far Israel is all over Palestine, bombing hospitals and committing all kind of crimes. Hamas was just an excuse for Israel to launch an offensive and they are fully using it but now with mounting pressure and opposition from the world it is forced to go for ceasefire but the damage that has been done could not be ignored and the world particularly the Muslim leaders are accountable for Gaza tragedies.
