


Location
Khabeki Lake is located in Soon Sakesar valley of Khushab district in Punjab. If you are traveling though Motorway M-2, from Kallar Kahar Interchange, you’ll turn left to Naushehra city of district Khushab. It is about 70km away but Khabeki lake is about 6km before Naushehra, on the road. You can also use Sargodha-Khushab road or Lilla Interchange. Kinhati gardens are also located near the Lake. Khabeki lake is the second biggest lake of Soon Sakesar valley. The area is less explored and traffic flow is low. Road conditions are not ideal but not rough enough to miss the views of this beautiful valley with so much hidden natural spots with exhilarating environment. That makes it a must on your list of travel destination Pakistan.

Why is this travel destination worth visiting
It is the only family point. Khabeki lake is a family spot. There is a TDCP resort. You can enjoy boating, cycling and spend night here. But you have to book TDCP resort in advance. It is a marvelous view point. Birds of about 50 kinds visit this place including migratory birds making it a must visit for birds lover and attract photographer from around the country.
There are mountains on both sides of this lake and strong wind blows here. Mountains make it a passage. As there is no drainage system and there are mountains on both sides, this is lower land and has become a lake. It’s 4km long and 1km wide. Water has receded but it will come back after rains. As per land records, it came into existence in 1894. The good thing is that it is more developed than Uchali the largest lake in Soon Valley. There is TDCP resort providing facilities and and beautiful lakeside accommodations are being developed nearby with all the facilities for travel lovers.
Kinhati Gardens Waterfall is nearby and a must visit place in the same area. As soon as you turn towards Kinhati Gardens, your world changes suddenly. You can’t believe your eyes that how the scene can change so much so quickly. Lush green mountain and greenery all around you mesmerizes you. Please take care while driving because turns are dangerous and there are deep ditches as well on the way but it is all worth it. Drivers with automatic vehicles need to take much care. These mountains are different from other mountains. Ancient fossils have been found on these mountains.
Fossils are found here off and on even today. There are 2 road to reach Kinhati Garden Waterfall. The first one is to walk through the garden. Second one takes you through the village. I will suggest you to pass through the village because it is beautiful and the road offers great scenery. You have to walk less. Kinhati is a special rock. Here are so many different mountains that is why it is called Kinhati. This is smaller waterfall and bathing is prohibited here. It is 15 to 25 feet deep. The bigger waterfall is 15 minutes walk away. Grass of 15 types is found here. There is jungle on 3 sides and one side is populous from where travelers enter. It is a big picnic spot in summer, people come to bath, enjoy the scenes and the fun part is it is not crowded and these gems are hidden as no efforts have been made to utilize these areas that are so close to big cities and possess great potential for tourism.

The site has a rich heritage with fossils being found on regular basis. colorful mountains with different types of grass, birds of different kind with relaxing environment make it a treat for nature lovers and a must visit place for travel enthusiast as well as nature lover. There is a lot to explore in this mountains. people are welcoming and no ill crimes have been reported in the area despite of bad roads and scarce population. Crime rate in the area is low so is the traffic making it a perfect escape.
