Violence erupts in Bishkek Kyrgyzstan
On 13th may a fight broke out between Egyptian student group and locals in Bishkek Kyrgyzstan. In the aftermath where Egyptian beat the local students, In response local groups were mobilized and expressed their rage by attacking local students in Bishkek Kyrgyzstan. Hostels were attacked and foreign students were attacked, raped and harassed by mobsters. The situation went out of control when mobsters openly roamed the streets and attacking all the hostels on the streets of the city Pakistani students are been targeted, the locals are helping these mobsters sharing addresses of Pakistani students via social platforms like twitter and Facebook. Reports of 3 Pakistani students being killed are circulating with females from hostel being raped are circulating on the social media which are not confirmed by the Embassy that has been sleeping since 4 days and no coordination or protection was provided. The police was no where to be seen and law and order situation is totally out of control but there has been no interest shown by the only Muslim atomic power in the world in fact they seem busy conquering their own people back home while Pakistani students are under attack abroad.
Current situation and Plea of Students
Even though most of the population of Kyrgyzstan is Muslim but the treatment the students are getting is far from what a Muslim expects in a Muslim country. Anyways that how the conditions are in Pakistan itself but to see local authorities being silent and according to students the locals are giving addresses and contacts of students residing locally so they could be attacked and killed is really shameful for any community. Hostels are attacked, Female students are harassed, mobsters breaking in stealing and beating students badly has been observed that too happening in the capital of the country. Students are asking for safety and help but no flights are organized even the embassy has failed to put pressure on local authorities and has not even thought of excavating the students that are eagerly waiting for help but after all the uproar a very valuable advice of staying indoor was issued by Pakistan Embassy that really helps.
Pakistani Response
The response of Pakistan government is swift and expected that was complete silent and act as nothing has happen till #savepakistanistudents became the top trend on twitter after which they issued the statement advising students to remain indoor. There are over 10,000 students Pakistani students in Kyrgyzstan, why they are there in a country that is even not matching the standards of other European country and where law and order situation is not ideal. The reason lies in the response of Pakistani Embassy that youth has no hope from Pakistan and they just want to leave for anywhere instead of their home country which is still busy conquering its own people and I am sure no student would be shocked after no response of Pakistani Govt because that is why they are their in another miserable country risking their lives. No moves has been made yet awaiting tragedy by Muslim atomic power with 5th most powerful army in the world as they say. After social media trends, News channel and the establishment felt that they shall recognize that there is a problem going on and shift the focus from Imran Khan and portraying themselves as savior of Pakistan so the issue is now getting coverage and hopefully a better response than what the embassy gave earlier could be seen.
