PTI Protest Call : Latest Updates

Arrangements seem to be in place to stop the PTI protest in Islamabad. Containers have been placed in the red zone, Islamabad. The series of raids is going around the province to capture the leadership of PTI, and some accused workers have also been arrested. The government is in action to stop the protest on November 24. A wall of containers has been erected at D Chowk. Containers have been placed near Faizabad on the zero point of the highway and the expressway. From November 22, the PTA has decided to temporarily suspend internet and mobile phone services. From November 22, the PTA will activate firewall on mobile phones and internet services. Internet service will be slow, and videos and audios will not be downloaded on social media apps. Rangers have been summoned in three areas of Punjab. The Punjab government has sent a request to deploy Rangers in Jhelum, Rawalpindi, and Attock. Rawalpindi police also arrested dozens of PTI workers during raids at various places to prevent protests.

Section 144 is imposed in Islamabad and Rawalpindi. DPO ensures that there are blockades at various places and containers are placed; Rawalpindi will be closed from 50 places. Raids and arrests are being made to get PTI leadership behind bars. It seems as if motorways will be closed, roads will be closed, markets will be closed, businesses will be closed, the internet will be closed, and firewalls will also be closed by some time. The government is doing a theater show, and that too, not properly, is dancing to the flute. There is no chance of Imran Khan coming to power because this government suits the system; this Prime Minister also suits them. The government is doing something that would have made our container city popular and famous. The basic reason why these permissions are being given is that you have snatched the political space from Pakistan.

Tehreek-e-Insaf is not allowing it to happen You can disagree with Imran Khan on the basis of his stand; you can disagree with him from where he stands, but even his worst enemy cannot say that Imran Khan got scared. The Islamabad High Court has accepted the words of the business community and has told the government not to allow protests that disturb the city’s peace.
If Imran Khan wanted to come out, he would have come out by now. One has to make a deal; one leaves the party. The way Nawaz Sharif has been roaming out of politics till date, Asif Ali Zardari has reached the assembly, did you ever think about these people? It is strange that these people who were booked till yesterday are also in the dock. Imran Khan said that when the curtains of the establishment are removed, he will be free.
The Final Call of Imran Khan may be very well-designed, but the government is not backing down. Although they show as if everything is normal, the preparations and statements from the important persons do give a hint of panic, and that is completely justified. The government has always made a severe mistake of taking things casually and declaring the war against protestors, and has prepared themselves yet again for the siege of Islamabad. I think we could not expect from this establishment any positive way forward, and they will act in the same manner till they are done and dusted and could pray for things to get normal. If PTI came out in huge numbers and establishment doesn’t back down, things can really get out of control, which is not good for Pakistan.
