Location of Siran Valley
Siran Valley is Located near Batakundi Naran. There is a mud track that take you though Batakundi into the Siran Meadows about one and a half hour track from the spot of Batakundi. There is one Siran Valley in Mansehra City but the one I will be talking about is near Batakundi Naran filled with sceneries of Nature and heavenly meadows. The map Location is pinned here.
The Terrain
Located in the midst of beautiful mountains. Siran valley has a lot of attractions. This include Siran River, Siran meadows and is a gateway to most of the unexplored hidden areas of Pakistan which are only accessible by adventure junkies as there is no road or proper facilities after Batakundi and most of the tourist tend to return to their accommodations in Batakundi after spending a day in Siran Meadows exploring the heavenly valley. Malka e Parbat the famous peak of Naran Valley can be trekked from Siran Meadows along with famous spiritual places like Mussa ka Mussala and forests take you to the edge of Neelum valley of Kashmir. The place is perfect for camping in summers but you have to be well equipped and adventure ready to witness the marvels of this beautiful valley.
Tourism in the area
The valley is largely undiscovered with no road or other facility depriving tourism in the area. Many tourist don’t even know about the area. Only explorers and adventurist tend to visit Siran valley and with no hotels in the area most of them return by evening. Only campers dive deep in the valley to explore and trek but because of lack of infrastructure and awareness the Siran valley is amongst the most beautiful unexplored areas of Pakistan.
